Let me just tell you the excitement I felt after receiving an email from Ria about becoming an instructor at FreeRide–I had just received a discouraging setback in the studio opening timeline when her email came in explaining that she had just moved into the area from New York City where she was actively spinning at some of the studios I became obsessed with during my travels. These were the same studio experiences I planned to bring here to Bentonville at FreeRide! My prayers had been answered in finding an instructor who knew EXACTLY what technique we wanted to teach here and on top of that, she was charismatic, outgoing, and just an all-around inspiring person to be around. A former marketing professional, Ria discovered her passion for indoor cycling in 2011. Following in the footsteps of some of her favorite instructors, she decided to make the switch from the student side of the bike to teaching, and completed her Mad Dogg Spinning® Instructor certification in New York City prior to relocating to Northwest Arkansas. A rhythmic rider, she loves spinning to the beat while incorporating a full body workout using free weights. Ria is currently studying to obtain her Personal Training certification through NASM, so she can help clients achieve their fitness goals both on and off the bike. We asked Ria a few questions to help you get to know her better and see why you
